Johnny Jay Beckham

Updated: Jul 6

September 18, 1987 to June 30, 2021

Johnny Jay Beckham was born on September 18, 1987, to Doris Hosier and Jody Beckham in Riverside California. When Johnny was just a baby, his father and mother separated, and his father brought him and his brother Matthew to be with their extended family. They were then joined by a sister Jordan Tolliver. Years later, in 1991 Jody met Tracy Johnson, and together they gave Matthew and Johnny three more siblings, Cody Beckham, Mary Beckham, and Miranda Beckham. The growing family relocated to Parker Arizona in 1993. This is where Johnny grew up and would spend the rest of his life.

As a child Johnny spent a lot of time with his siblings and cousins from California. His childhood was filled with dirt bikes, boats, and jeeps. Johnny’s father taught him how to drive and work on all the above. Johnny could always be found under a vehicle with his father. Throughout his school years, Johnny was a bit of a trouble-maker, constantly pranking and giving his teachers a hard time. Teachers later taught his younger siblings, so that was fun for them. After school he began working with his father doing construction. They were quite the team and his father taught him the skills that he would use to provide for himself and eventually his family. In 2010 Johnny and his girlfriend Sam Schiller had a baby boy named Bobby Beckham. A beautiful baby boy who looked just like his daddy and resembles him in more ways than one, today. Bobby Jay was Johnny’s pride and joy. The two of them enjoyed just being together, no matter what they were doing.

Johnny passed away surrounded by his family on June 30, 2021. It is worth noting that almost exactly one month before Johnny’s life tragically came to an end, so had his grandmothers. Johnny’s grandmother Margie Beckham was the person that he was closest to in this world, and I pray that his family and friends may find comfort in that Johnny is now reunited with his grandma and his father.

Special thanks to Havasu Regional Medical Center for their care and compassion.

The service for Beckham will be Saturday July 10 at 12pm at
