Billie Wayne Ramer

Billie Ramer, 83, passed away on April 11, 2021 at his home surrounded by family.

Billie Wayne Ramer was born on September 30, 1937 to Leonard and Vera (Turness) Ramer at Watonga, OK.

Billie graduated high school and joined the US Army. He served in the Korean War from 1956-1958. He married Anna “Dee” Smith and on February 28, 2021 they celebrated their 62nd wedding anniversary.

As a career, Billie started his own business Kitsap Garage Door Company in 1975 in Washington state. Upon retirement the business transferred to the new owner, his son John Ramer.

Billie had a passion for horses, riding ATV’s in the desert, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. He was a 4-H leader in Maple Valley and was involved in multiple horse clubs and RV / traveling clubs.

Billie will be missed for his generosity, kindness and great sense of humor.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years Dee, Lake Havasu City, AZ; son John Ramer, Bremerton, WA; daughters Debbie Somers, Mesa AZ, Tammy Halstead, Lake Havasu City AZ, Denise Wright, Mattawa, WA; grandchildren Brittany Carlton, Jay Wright, Adam Wright, Billie Ramer and Garrett Ramer; and four great grandchildren.

Billie was preceded in death by his son Leonard Wayne and granddaughter Jennifer.
